第一洞带我们来认识抛球的最基本概念：抛球的正确方式。尽管书上写的是三个分项，但正确的方式其实包括五项内容：
✅1，正确的人，指的是球员本身（在某些规则中包含伙伴）
✅2，球必须是垂直落下的
✅3，球必须从膝高处抛下
✅4，球触地前没有碰到球员或者装备的任何部分
✅5，球必须抛在补救区内
五项内容同时勾选才算正确抛球，任何一项没有做对都没有做到正确抛球，我们当地同行私下里称为“Bad drop”, and bad drops never count。
其次需要关注的就是装备的定义和它的性质状态。一支tee在规则中可以有很多不同的性质状态，但在上述的情况中它就是装备（Clarification 14.3b(2)- Dec/2018）， 因此第四条没能打勾。
没有以正确方式抛下的球理论上会落在错误的地方,但是事实上补救区是你应该打球的地方，所以最终球是在补救区内还是区外打出去的变得非常关键，规则采取了内外有别的不同处罚待遇：区外打的是在错误的地方打球，一般性处罚；区内的打的规则视为是一个程序性错误，罚一杆（R14.3b）。
